Now acupuncture is integrated into the Nordic health care. Sweden celebrates 25 years since the first basic training in Gävle 1985! It is with great pleasure that we invite to a big corporate gathering.
We meet for the northern congress almost in the middle of Scandinavia, in the beautiful archipelago of Åland. The congress has been initiated to strengthen our Nordic ties and to create conditions for Nordic cooperation around acupuncture.
The Nordic associations for medical acupuncture have together created a very interesting congress program, with eminent speakers and researchers around evidence-based acupuncture.

Aim and target group
The target group of the Congress are professionals with the common interest of Western medical acupuncture and Dry Needling.
The aim of the congress is:
- to present current scientific and clinical research on this subject
- to learn how we in the Nordic countries are working with acupuncture
- To create conditions for exchange of experiences and cooperation in research
- To promote the scientific profile of acupuncture treatment
- To exchange experience and clinical expertise
Where?
In spring of 2009 opened the magnificent and nordic designed congress centre Alandica in Mariehamn. An inspirational gathering place at the shore in Mariehamn, and at the same time in the very center. For more information please look at: www.alandica.ax
